Daylight Saving Time (DST) adds another layer of complexity, as many regions advance their clocks by one hour during summer months. Our converter uses the IANA time zone database, which automatically accounts for DST transitions, so you always get accurate conversions regardless of the time of year.
How to Use This Tool

Frequently Asked Questions
Does this tool account for Daylight Saving Time?
Yes. Our converter uses the IANA time zone database (also known as the tz database), which includes historical and current DST rules for every time zone. When you convert a time, the tool automatically applies the correct offset based on whether DST is in effect at that date and time in both the source and target zones.
Why does my local time zone not appear in the list?
The tool auto-detects your browser's time zone and selects it as the default source zone. If your specific city is not listed, choose the nearest major city in the same time zone. All IANA time zones are available in the dropdown, so your zone should be represented even if your city is not explicitly named.
How accurate is the conversion?
The conversion is as accurate as your browser's implementation of the IANA time zone database. Modern browsers are kept up to date and provide accurate conversions.
